Dr. Janie Christine (jc.) Cauthen is a resident of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. She is the eldest of five and a fourth-generation farm girl from rural Iowa, where her family still resides and farms. Her experience in leadership is well grounded from agricultural, academic, and professional experiences, along with her formal education. She moved to Texas in 1997 to attend Dallas Theological Seminary, in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated in 1999 with a master’s degree in Christian Education, Educational Leadership. She eventually moved to the Texas Hill Country, and worked at the local university until she started school in May 2006. Dr. Cauthen received a terminal degree August 2009, in Strategic Leadership from the School of Business & Leadership at Regent University, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Dr. Cauthen’s life goal is to invest in people wherever she is able. She believes working with people in a coaching, training, or speaking/presenting environment to be a privilege and an honor. She enjoys people who want to learn and the opportunity to help them gain awareness and learn how to cultivate relationships at a new level. She believes this to happen through personal investment as well as consistent encouragement of one’s personal development along with the ability to live life with a greater level of awareness. Self-awareness leads to greater understanding of identity, in family, community and the workplac; and purposed identity and individual responsibility.
Dr. Cauthen is able to present topics in a uniquely transferable way that presents a challenge of awareness for all who are listening, applying and participating. Participation in life is key. She will get you to think in a new way, challenge what you have known to be true, not to disprove, but improve on yourself!
The inital idea of this type of organization/ training happned in the early 2000's. She was looking for answers and was not finding them, she knew there was more ~ but how to find it. And with that, she knew she was not the only one! So, she designed the organization which is what you have been reading about on this site.
What she needs is the investor(s) to make it happen!
Dr. Cauthen enjoys learning new things, travel, reading, drinking coffee with friends, cozy fires & starry nights, being outside, creating new things from old treasures, and developing innovative and fresh ideas to address relentless problems.
She lives a life of education and adventure, viewing both as a treasure to be obtained, and wants to be able to share this sprirt of advnture with all who will partifcpate! She believes life to be about the journey and is always seeking how to involve as many people as possible in her ventures, the Tripe O Ranch is one of them!
